Online Design Challenge

Do I need to pay any money to register for the Challenge? No. You do not have to pay anything to anyone to register yourself for any event on HackerEarth.

Do I need to have any specific qualifications to be a participant for the Challenge? If you love to design, you are more than welcome to participate in the Online Design Challenge.

How many rounds are there in the event? There are a total of three rounds in the event. Click here for details

Does one have to be online and available for the entire duration of the event? No, one does not need to be logged in on HackerEarth or be online for the entire duration. You can develop the design on your local system based on the given themes and then submit it on HackerEarth.

Do I need to submit a presentation for the product that I have built? Yes, at the end of the Challenge. Each team should upload a complete presentation about their solution, with the temple provided by the Organizing Committee. A video can also be uploaded along with the ppt.

How should I submit the project in various rounds? The first and second rounds submission should be mailed to championship@aaruush.net , the final round submission should be done on HackerEarth portal.

Who will own the IP(Intellectual Property) Rights to the product that I have built? The developer/developers of the design will have all rights and own the IP of the product. However, the design should be in the public domain (open source) so that it can be evaluated by the judges.
